Artemisia montana (Ooyomogi) is a perennial herb native to China Southeast, Japan, Khabarovsk, Korea, Kuril Is., and 2 more regions. It grows in mountainous areas (flatlands in Hokkaido). Imported field notes describe plants reaching 150–200 cm. Pinnately divided with deep lobes; the lobes are sharp and pointed.
